With the abundance of color the fall season brings (this statement obviously excludes Florida), we tend to dress in darker and neutral colors, though I prefer the latter. I’ve said it before but I really do find light colors like cream and winter white luxurious when worn in the cooler seasons. The rest of the year I like to play with bolder prints and colors as seen on this blog and my Instagram.

Since there are so many options out there, I wanted to highlight a few looks made with neutral pieces that have caught my eye, and are on my wishlist for fall, whenever it decides to arrive here.

Out of all these pieces, I adore the boucle jackets - they are such classics and go with everything, as well as this long pleated dress - isn’t it stunning? I also like this oversized raincoat - it’s water-repellent, I think it’s pretty stylish for rainy days!

On another note, if like me, you aren’t a fan of bare legs in the fall [and winter] - I get cold so easily - and when wearing shorter dresses or skirts, I wear tights (I have been wearing these for years now - love them! as well as these).

Which look is your favorite?

xoxo,

Em
